GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
The Global Sourcing Risk Index, has been created by Proxima in partnership with Oxford Economics. The report includes the world’s 20 largest economies by GDP in 2024 as “developed” sourcing markets: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea (the Republic of), Mexico, Netherlands (the), Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Proxima and Oxford Economics selected an additional 10 “emerging” economies based on a combination of scale, location, and prominence in the global sourcing debate: Austria, Colombia, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
